🚀 Getting Started
How does Fitora work?+
Fitora is a daily meal-delivery subscription. You pick a plan (trial, weekly, or monthly), choose veg or non-veg, and we cook your meals fresh every morning starting at 6 AM in our FSSAI-licensed Trivandrum kitchen. Lunch arrives before 1 PM and dinner before 8 PM, Monday to Saturday. Every meal is portioned, macro-balanced, and reviewed by a registered dietitian — no menu hassle, no leftovers, no compromise.
Is there a trial available before I commit to a monthly plan?+
Yes. The 3-Day Trial Plan (₹699) lets new members experience Fitora for 3 consecutive days with 2 meals/day (lunch + dinner) and zero long-term commitment. You'll see exactly how the meals taste, how the delivery flow works, and how your dietitian recommendations look — all before committing to a monthly subscription.
What areas in Thiruvananthapuram do you deliver to?+
We currently deliver across Trivandrum including Technopark Phase 1, 2 and 3 (Kazhakootam), Pattom, Kowdiar, Vellayambalam, Sreekaryam, Vanchiyoor, Pallinada, and Central Trivandrum. What time do meals get delivered each day?+
Lunch is delivered before 1:00 PM and dinner before 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. The exact slot depends on your delivery cluster — most Technopark and Kazhakootam customers get lunch between 12:00 PM and 12:45 PM. You'll get a WhatsApp ping ~10 minutes before delivery so you can collect on time.
Do I need to create an account to subscribe?+
Yes — you'll create a free Fitora account during checkout. The account holds your delivery address, meal preferences, allergies, payment receipts, and lets you pause, resume, or switch meals from your dashboard at any time.
How is Fitora different from other tiffin services in Trivandrum?+
Three things set Fitora apart: (1) Every recipe is reviewed by a registered dietitian for macros, fibre, and glycaemic index. (2) We use Wayanad red rice, backwater fish, and locally-sourced organic vegetables — no preservatives, no artificial colours, no shortcuts. (3) Our FSSAI-licensed kitchen (Reg. 21326131000217) cooks fresh every morning from 6 AM. Plans are flexible — pause or skip anytime with zero penalty.
🥗 Meal Plans & Customisation
What meal plans does Fitora offer?+
Fitora currently offers a 3-Day Trial Plan (₹699), Weekly Plan (₹1,999 for 6 days, 2 meals/day), Bi-Weekly Plan, and Monthly Plan (₹5,999 — best value, works out to ~₹100 per meal). Coming soon: Diabetes Management Plan, Muscle Gain Plan, and Weight Loss Plan with specialised macro tracks. All plans include lunch + dinner six days a week.
Can I choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals?+
Yes. You can set a default preference (veg, non-veg, or mixed) during signup and update it any time from your dashboard. You can also toggle individual days — for example, veg on weekdays and non-veg on weekends — directly from the daily delivery calendar.
Do you cater to specific diet types — keto, diabetic-friendly, or high-protein?+
Yes. Fitora has dedicated tracks for High-Protein (40g+ per meal), Diabetic-Friendly (low-GI red rice, controlled carbs, no added sugar), Weight Loss (calorie-controlled portions), and Standard Balanced. Each track is designed by our registered dietitian and reviewed monthly. Take the free Health Assessment to get a personalised recommendation.
Can I skip a day if I'm travelling or eating out?+
Absolutely — just WhatsApp us before 9 PM the previous night (or pause from your dashboard) and that meal will not be delivered. Skipped days are credited automatically and added to the end of your subscription, so you never lose a meal you've paid for.
Can I see the weekly menu in advance?+
Yes. Your dashboard shows the upcoming week's menu by Sunday evening, with full ingredient lists and macro breakdown (calories, protein, carbs, fat, fibre). You can also see suggested swaps for personal preferences or allergens.
Can I customise individual meals — swap a side, remove an ingredient?+
Limited custom swaps are available — you can mark dislikes (e.g. no coconut, no curd) in your dashboard and we'll substitute. For severe allergies, please flag them at signup and our team will confirm what we can guarantee. Full per-meal customisation isn't possible because we cook in batches, but we'll always tell you upfront what's possible.
💳 Subscription & Billing
How do I cancel my Fitora subscription?+
You can cancel any time from your dashboard or by WhatsApping us. There is no cancellation fee. Once you cancel, your subscription stays active for the remaining days you've paid for — there are no automatic renewals.
Can I pause my subscription temporarily?+
Yes. Pause your subscription anytime from the dashboard for as long as you need — your end date simply extends by the number of paused days. No penalty, no minimum notice period (we just need to know before 9 PM the night before to skip the next day's meal).
How does the refund policy work?+
Subscriptions are not auto-renewed. Refunds for cancelled subscriptions are issued only for unfulfilled meals that cannot be carried forward, and processed via the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Skipped/paused days are not refunded because they're already credited back to your account as extended subscription days.
What payment methods does Fitora accept?+
All major UPI apps (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), credit cards, debit cards, and net banking — all processed securely via Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We do not store your card details on our servers. Cash on delivery is not currently supported.
Do you offer bulk or corporate meal plans for offices?+
Yes — Fitora has dedicated corporate meal programs for IT companies and offices in Technopark and Kazhakootam, starting from 5+ employees. We offer dedicated delivery windows, customised macro tracks (e.g. high-protein for fitness-focused teams), volume discounts, and invoicing under GST. Are there any extra delivery charges?+
No. Delivery is included in every Fitora subscription, including the 3-Day Trial. There are no hidden fees — the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Will I get a tax invoice / GST bill?+
Yes. A tax invoice is emailed to you after every successful payment with our GST details. Corporate customers can request a single consolidated invoice per month.
🌿 Food Quality & Safety
Is Fitora's kitchen FSSAI certified?+
Yes. Fitora operates under full FSSAI licensing — registration number 21326131000217. This is the gold standard for food safety in India and means our kitchen, cold storage, hygiene practices, and staff training are audited and approved by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.
Do Fitora meals contain preservatives or artificial colours?+
Absolutely none. Zero preservatives, zero artificial colours, zero flavour enhancers, zero MSG. Every Fitora meal is cooked fresh the same morning (kitchen opens at 6 AM) and delivered same-day. No frozen ingredients, no pre-cooked shortcuts, no packaged sauces.
Where does Fitora source its ingredients?+
We source Wayanad red rice direct from organic farms in Wayanad, backwater fish from Kerala's coastal regions, and seasonal vegetables from local Trivandrum farmers' markets. Dairy comes from regional FSSAI-certified suppliers. We avoid imported ingredients wherever possible.
Are the macro values (protein, carbs, fat) accurate?+
Yes — every menu item is calculated by our registered dietitian and weight-verified during cooking. Macro estimates published on your dashboard are accurate within ±10%, factoring natural variation in ingredient weight. If you're tracking macros precisely (e.g. for cutting or bulking), the dashboard shows per-meal totals you can log directly into MyFitnessPal or any tracker.
How are the meals packaged?+
Meals are packed in food-grade, microwave-safe, BPA-free containers. Hot items are kept hot using insulated delivery bags. We use biodegradable packaging wherever possible and are actively phasing out remaining single-use plastics. You can request a 'no cutlery' option to reduce waste further.
Do you handle food allergies — nuts, dairy, gluten, seafood?+
We do our best, but please disclose all allergies during signup. We can avoid specific ingredients in your meals, but our kitchen also handles nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, and seafood — so we cannot guarantee a 100% cross-contamination-free environment. Customers with severe allergies should consult their doctor before subscribing.
Are the meals halal?+
Yes, all our non-vegetarian meals are sourced from halal-certified suppliers. If this is critical for you, please confirm at signup and we'll send you the supplier certifications.
🛵 Delivery & Logistics
What happens if I'm not home for delivery?+
If you're not home, our delivery partner will leave the package at your door or with your apartment security desk (whichever you've configured in your dashboard). For office deliveries at Technopark, meals are dropped at your floor reception or a designated locker. You'll get a WhatsApp confirmation with a delivery photo.
Can I change my delivery address mid-subscription?+
Yes — update it from your dashboard. Changes saved before 9 PM apply from the next morning's delivery. You can also set multiple addresses (e.g. office for weekdays, home for weekends) and assign meals per address.
Is delivery free with every plan?+
Yes. Delivery is fully included in all Fitora subscriptions — Trial, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, and Corporate. There are no per-delivery charges and no minimum order surcharges.
What happens on public holidays and Sundays?+
Fitora delivers Monday to Saturday. Sundays and gazetted public holidays are skipped — those meals are automatically credited and your subscription extends by the same number of days. No paid meal is ever lost.
What if the meal arrives cold or damaged?+
WhatsApp us immediately with a photo. We'll re-deliver a fresh meal the same day if it's within our delivery window, or credit the affected meal to your subscription. Quality is non-negotiable — if it's not right, we make it right.

What is the Fitora Health Assessment?+
The Health Assessment is a free 5-minute questionnaire that captures your goals (weight loss, muscle gain, diabetes management, general wellness), current habits, allergies, and lifestyle. Our AI-powered system, reviewed by a registered dietitian, generates a personalised report with recommended meal tracks, macro targets, and lifestyle suggestions. Available at /health-assessment.
Can I chat with a dietitian if I have questions about my meals?+
Yes. Monthly and Bi-Weekly subscribers get access to our in-app dietitian chat for personalised macro adjustments, allergy alternatives, and progress reviews. We're rolling out unlimited chat for all paying customers — your dashboard will show your chat tab once you're subscribed.
Will Fitora help me lose weight?+
Fitora supports sustainable weight loss with calorie-controlled portions, high-satiety meals, low-GI carbs, and dietitian-reviewed macros — but weight loss depends on your full lifestyle (sleep, stress, activity). The Health Assessment will recommend a daily calorie target and the Weight Loss Plan (coming soon) is designed for 0.5–1 kg/week sustainable loss without crash dieting.
Are Fitora meals suitable for diabetics?+
Yes — our Diabetic-Friendly track (coming soon) uses low-GI Wayanad red rice, controlled carbs, no added sugar, and high fibre to keep blood glucose stable. Every recipe is endocrinologist-reviewed. If you're managing Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, please share your HbA1c history during signup so our dietitian can flag any concerns.
